SomeAI (Pre Launch)

A premium web-inspired identity system for SomeAI.

brief

Emerging AI companies often look and sound the same—generic marks, predictable designs, and unclear differentiation. SomeAI needed a distinct identity that could feel premium and technical, while clearly referencing the “Charlotte” concept without becoming literal or playful. The system also needed to scale across digital touchpoints, from brand assets to app icon usage.

approach

I designed a brand identity centered on a spider-web inspired symbol—built around a strong, geometric structure with a focused “core.” The mark balances organic web logic with a clean, engineered finish, creating a visual that feels both intelligent and powerful. The identity system was developed to remain recognizable at small sizes and consistent across platforms, supported by a minimal wordmark, layout rules, and a set of digital brand assets for product and marketing use.

SomeAI is an upcoming AI automation company building tools that help businesses implement and scale automated workflows. The core software, Charlotte, is inspired by a spider—designed to weave systems together with precision and intelligence.

The SomeAI identity is built around the idea of a web: a system of connections anchored by a strong center. The symbol references a spider-web structure, but it’s refined into a geometric, tech-forward form—designed to feel premium, precise, and scalable. The mark’s “core” communicates intelligence and control, which aligns with the product’s goal of automating complex workflows for businesses.

Visually, the logo carries a high-contrast, engineered tone—something that can read as a web, an energy source, or even an eye depending on context. That flexibility became a strength: it feels iconic without being overly literal. After the logo direction was approved and well received by founders and investors, I extended the system into digital assets and platform-ready applications to ensure consistency across brand and product touchpoints.

I created the primary logo mark and wordmark lockups, defined construction and spacing logic to ensure consistent scaling, and created a set of digital brand assets including icons, app icon explorations, and platform-ready exports. I also developed brand usage examples across product and marketing contexts to demonstrate consistent application of the system.
